How can I verify if service is available in my area?
The first step is to use ACN's online pre-qualification tool to
check for availability.
- If Service Is Available, you can proceed with signing-up via
LOA or phone order.
- If the Address is Invalid, re-check the information you entered.
Is it exactly the same as it appears on your phone bill? Is it
missing a "directional" like N, S, NW, etc.? If so, correct the
error. If you believe the address is correct and still receive
this response, contact Customer Service at 866-280-6540.
- If Service Is Not Available, then DSL service is not available
in your area at this time.
How long will it take for my DSL service to be installed?
Due to the high demand for ACN services installation times will
vary but you can expect it will be about 7-14 days from the time
your voice service is activated.
How do Covad DSL speeds compare to Cable?
Most cable companies offer speed anywhere from 1Mbps to 5mbps.
Are Covad’s uploads speeds robust enough to handle ACN’s
Video Phone technologies?
Yes, with ACN’s Video Phone service we recommend your upload
speed to be a minimum of 128Kbps, and all three tiers of Covad service
